The DHS Cosmetology Program
Students who wish to enroll in the Cosmetology program at DHS must register through their school counselor. The program is a high school elective which qualifies for both fine arts and practical arts credits. Our cosmetology students receive the state-required hours and services to be eligible to take the Florida Cosmetology licensing exam right after high school, enabling them to go right to work in a salon.
